An engine overhaul of the Liebherr D9408 TI-E A4 was carried out in our company.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, pistons along with rings, as well as the replacement of cylinder liners. The cooling system gained a new thermostat and a regenerated pump, and the fuel system new injector tips.
In addition, turbochargers and heads were regenerated, and the crankshaft was polished.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
