A Cummins QSC8.3 engine overhaul was performed in our company.

The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of the engine block, crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, pistons along with rings, as well as the replacement of cylinder liners. A refurbished fuel pump and injectors were installed in the fuel system, as well as new fuel lines. The cooling system was equipped with a new water pump and thermostat. From now on, a new oil pump operates in the engine, and the turbine is lubricated via a new oil line. The engine's electrical harness, which was previously damaged, has been repaired.

In addition, the following were regenerated: connecting rods, turbocharger, compressor, cylinder head, alternator and starter, and crankshaft.

Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.

After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
