An engine overhaul was carried out in our company for the Liebherr D 906 TB.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, pistons with rings, as well as the replacement of cylinder liners. New camshaft bearings were used in the block. The cooling system gained a new pump.
In addition, the following were regenerated: connecting rods, heads, as well as the starter and alternator. The crankshaft was ground.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
