An engine overhaul of a Volvo TD122 was carried out in our company.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of the engine block, crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, piston rings, as well as the replacement of cylinder liners. The fuel system gained new injector tips and a regenerated injection pump, and the cooling system a new water pump.
In addition, the following were regenerated: the injection pump, cylinder heads, crankshaft, camshaft, turbocharger.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
