An engine overhaul of the Liebherr D926 was carried out in our company
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of the engine block, crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, pistons along with rings, as well as the replacement of cylinder liners. A regenerated fuel pump and new injector tips were installed in the fuel system. The cooling system was equipped with a regenerated water pump.
In addition, the following were regenerated: connecting rods, turbocharger, cylinder head, alternator and starter, and crankshaft.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
