Our company has carried out an overhaul of the Mercedes OM 422 engine.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, pistons along with rings, as well as the replacement of cylinder liners and a set of pushrod cups. The cooling system gained a new pump. New injector tips were used in the fuel system.
In addition, the following were regenerated: connecting rods, camshaft and cylinder heads. The crankshaft was subjected to grinding.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
