A Perkins 1006-6T engine overhaul was carried out in our company.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of the engine block, crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, pistons along with rings, as well as the replacement of cylinder liners. Pushrod cups were also installed. The lubrication system gained a new oil pump. In the fuel system, a regenerated fuel pump, a new feed pump and new injector tips were installed. The cooling system was equipped with a new water pump, and a regenerated head was covered with a new valve cover.
In addition, the following were regenerated: turbocharger, cylinder block. The crankshaft was subjected to grinding.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
