A Cummins QSC8.3 engine overhaul was carried out in our company.
The engine overhaul included, among others, the replacement of crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, pistons along with rings, as well as the replacement of cylinder liners. The lubrication system gained a new pump.
In addition, the turbocharger, injectors and head were regenerated. The crankshaft was subjected to grinding.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
