An engine overhaul of the Liebherr D926 TI-E was carried out in our company
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of crankshaft bearings, camshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, pistons along with rings, as well as the replacement of cylinder liners. The fuel system gained new injector tips.
In addition, the following were regenerated: cylinder heads, injection pump and water pump.
The oil pump and turbine were checked for achieved parameters.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
