An engine overhaul was carried out in our company on a Liebherr D924 TI-E A2
The engine overhaul included, among other things, replacing the engine block, crankshaft bearings, camshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, piston rings, as well as replacing the cylinder liners. The fuel system gained new injector tips and a regenerated injection pump, and the cooling system a regenerated water pump.
In addition, the following were regenerated: cylinder heads, crankshaft, connecting rods, turbocharger, starter and alternator.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
