Trade fairs and exhibitions in the construction industry 2023
In 2023, several industry events took place, which were an opportunity to present construction equipment and test it by operators. They are also interesting spectacles for people not professionally associated with the construction machinery industry. Producers of the biggest brands are very eager to provide new machines and technological solutions, which can arouse the curiosity of people who do not operate construction machines on a daily basis.
eRobocze edition 2023
One of such events were the annual eRobocze SHOW fairs, this time they took place in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, exactly in Łobez, on October 7, 2023, and it was already the thirteenth edition. During the fair, over a hundred different machines were presented to the audience, and you could also admire them at work.
A great advantage of the fair is a large group of exhibitors, among which you can find the biggest brands in the industry, including Liebherr, Bobcat, Mecalac, Wacker Neuson, JCB (Interhandler) and many others. Participants also had the opportunity to compete in competitions for operators on JCB backhoe loaders. eRobocze SHOW is actually two events, where the central event always takes place in Lubień Kujawski, and the second edition is organized in different parts of Poland.
CONEXPO/CON-AGG in the USA
Beyond our country, large industry events also took place, including the huge CONEXPO/CON-AGG event in Las Vegas. It is the largest industry event in North America and lasts for three days, gathering over 2000 exhibitors and offering over 150 discussion panels and equipment shows, where you could get acquainted directly with the latest products and technologies in the industry.
Exhibitors are not only the largest manufacturers, such as Liebherr, CAT, Volvo, or Komatsu, but also smaller companies. It is worth adding that the year 2023 exceeded all the organizers' expectations in terms of the number of participants, which exceeded 139,000 and they were supposed to come from over 130 countries. This year's edition took place on March 14 - 18, and the next event date is March 3 - 7, 2026.
The fair presented such technological curiosities as, among others, the automatic American Honda AWV (Autonomous Work Vehicle) loader of the next generation. These vehicles use built-in sensors, stereoscopic 3D cameras, and GPS navigation to move with the load along a predetermined route. The vehicle moves automatically, after previous programming, or is remotely controlled and can transport construction materials on the construction site. The fair also presented a new series of Hagglunds Quantum engines - this brand belongs to Bosch Rexroth. This series includes two models - Hagglunds Quantum and Hagglunds Quantum Power, whose maximum speed can exceed 150 rpm. The engines presented their capabilities to viewers throughout the duration of CONEXPO-CON/AGG.
