A major repair of the Deutz BF6M1015 engine from the EXTEC Mega Bite mobile crusher was carried out in our workshop.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of main bearings, rod bearings and bushings, as well as cylinder liners, pistons with pins and rings. 2 connecting rods also required replacement. In the fuel system, reconditioned injectors and a fuel pump were installed. A new oil pump was installed in the lubrication system. The cooling system gained a reconditioned coolant pump and thermostat.
The pushrod cups were also replaced, and a reconditioned camshaft was installed to complete the set.
In addition, the following were reconditioned: crankshaft, connecting rods, cylinder heads, turbocharger and starter.
Finally, the engine was assembled with a new set of seals, gaskets and filters
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
