In our workshop, a repair of the Liebherr D926 TI-E A5 engine was carried out, which operates in the Liebherr LTM 1055/1 mobile crane

The engine repair included, among other things, the replacement of main bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, rings and cylinder liners. 2 pistons, one of the heads and most of the tappets also required replacement. In the fuel system, regenerated injectors were installed and the so-called leading injection was replaced. The cooling system is driven by a regenerated coolant pump.

On this occasion, the hydraulic pump was also inspected - during the revision, a complete set of seals was replaced in it so that it could finally end up at the test station in our power hydraulics workshop.

In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft, connecting rods, heads, turbocharger and engine block.

Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters, and the electrical harness was repaired.

After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
