In our workshop, a repair of the Cummins M11-C engine was carried out, which comes from a Volvo EC 460 LC crawler excavator.

The engine repair included, among other things, the replacement of main bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, as well as cylinder liners and piston rings. One of the pistons also needed to be replaced. In the fuel system, regenerated injectors and a fuel pump were installed. In the lubrication system, a new oil pump and piston nozzles were installed. The cooling system gained a new coolant pump and thermostat.

In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft, camshaft, connecting rods, cylinder head, turbocharger alternator and starter.

Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.

After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
