A Cummins 6CT8.3 engine from a Zettelmeyer ZL3002 wheel loader was repaired in our workshop.

The engine repair included, among other things, the replacement of main bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, as well as cylinder liners and pistons along with pins and rings. In the fuel system, refurbished injectors and a fuel pump were installed, as well as a new primer pump. A new oil pump was installed in the lubrication system. The cooling system gained a new coolant pump and thermostat.

The camshaft, pushrod cups and turbocharger were also replaced.

In addition, the following were refurbished: the crankshaft, connecting rods, cylinder head and starter.

Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.

After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop
