Liebherr D936 engine repair was carried out in our workshop, the engine comes from a Liebherr self-propelled crane.
The engine repair included, among other things, the replacement of main bearings, thrust bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, as well as cylinder liners and pistons along with pins and rings. In the fuel system, regenerated injectors and injection pumps were installed. The lubrication system was equipped with a new oil pump. The cooling system gained a regenerated coolant pump and a set of thermostats.
The fan bearings and flywheel, accessory belt tensioners, head bolts, pushrod cups were also replaced.
In addition, the following were regenerated: camshaft, connecting rods, heads, turbocharger, air compressor, and alternator and starter. The crankshaft only required polishing.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
