A Cummins 4BTA3.9 engine rebuild was carried out in our workshop.

The engine repair included, among other things, the replacement of pistons along with rings and pins, we also used new main bearings, rod bearings and bushings. In the fuel system, regenerated injectors and an injection pump were installed. The engine cooling system received a new water pump and a new thermostat. The worn oil pump was replaced with a new one. The engine block was oversized and the camshaft bearings were replaced, and the camshaft itself was regenerated.

In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft, connecting rods, cylinder head, turbocharger and starter.

Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.

After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
