In our workshop, we have carried out the reconstruction of a damaged Liebherr D934 S A6 engine from a Liebherr A924 wheel excavator.
We started the engine repair by replacing the damaged engine block and crankshaft. Then the engine was assembled on new repair kits containing main bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, as well as cylinder liners and pistons with rings. In the fuel system, regenerated injectors and injection pumps were installed. The engine cooling system received a regenerated water pump and new thermostats. As a result of the engine failure, the balance shafts were damaged, so we replaced them with other, functional ones. In the engine block, the camshaft bearings were replaced, and the camshaft itself was regenerated.
In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft, connecting rods, cylinder heads, turbocharger, alternator and starter.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
