Liebherr D924 T-E A1

In our workshop, we carried out a repair of the Liebherr D924 T-E A1 engine, which is successfully used in many Liebherr machines - including the R904 crawler excavator.

The engine repair included, among other things, the replacement of sleeves, complete pistons with rings, and a set of main and connecting rod bearings.

Repair process

In the fuel system, regenerated injectors and an injection pump were installed after a thorough inspection. The engine cooling system received a regenerated water pump and new thermostats.

In the engine block, the camshaft bearings were replaced, and the camshaft itself was regenerated.

In addition, the following were regenerated: the crankshaft, connecting rods, cylinder heads, turbocharger, and starter.

Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets, and filters.

After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
