An engine overhaul of the Liebherr D 904 TB was carried out in our company.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, as well as cylinder liners and pistons with rings. A regenerated fuel pump and injectors were installed in the fuel system. A new oil pump was installed in the lubrication system. In addition to the above, a regenerated water pump, new thermostats and a new clutch were installed.
In addition, the following were regenerated: the engine block, crankshaft, connecting rods, cylinder heads, turbocharger, and the starter and alternator.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and initially run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
