A Deutz BF4M1013 engine overhaul was carried out in our workshop.
The engine, originally from a power generator, was modified for use in a construction machine according to the customer's guidelines.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of main bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, cylinder liners and pistons along with rings. In the fuel system, refurbished injectors and fuel pumps were installed. A new oil pump and piston nozzles were installed in the lubrication system. The cooling system gained a new coolant pump and thermostat.
In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft, connecting rods, cylinder head, turbocharger and starter.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was tested and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
