The engine repair included, among other things, the replacement of main bearings, rod bearings and bushings, as well as cylinder liners and pistons with rings. In the fuel system, regenerated injectors and an injection pump were installed. The engine cooling system received a new water pump, new thermostats. The worn oil pump was replaced with a new one. In the engine block, the camshaft bearings were replaced, and the camshaft itself was regenerated.
In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft, connecting rods, heads, turbocharger and starter.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
