A Deutz TCD2013 L06 2V engine repair was carried out in our workshop, which came from a Volvo EC240C NL crawler excavator.
The engine repair included, among other things, the replacement of main bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, as well as cylinder liners and pistons with rings. The engine block also needed to be replaced - it was replaced with another functional one. In the fuel system, regenerated injectors, new high-pressure pumps and a primer pump were installed. A new oil pump was installed in the lubrication system. The cooling system gained a new coolant pump and thermostat.
In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft, connecting rods, cylinder head, turbocharger and starter.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
