In our workshop, a Deutz BF4M2012C engine from a Terex-Finlay 883 screener was repaired.
The engine rebuild included, among other things, the replacement of main bearings, rod bearings and bushings, as well as pistons with rings. In the fuel system, regenerated injectors and fuel pumps were installed. In the lubrication system, a new oil pump and piston nozzles were installed. The cooling system gained a new coolant pump and thermostat.
The camshaft was in very good condition, it only needed polishing.
In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft, connecting rods, cylinder head, turbocharger and engine block.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
