A Caterpillar 3306 B engine overhaul has been carried out in our company.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of main bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, cylinder liners, pistons and piston rings.
The fuel system received a regenerated injection pump and new injectors.
The camshaft along with the tappet cups, as well as the oil pump, intermediate wheel bearing and thermostat were also replaced.
In addition, the following were regenerated: the head, crankshaft, connecting rods, turbocharger and starter.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, sealants, filters and belts.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
