An engine overhaul was carried out in our company on a Liebherr D9308
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of crankshaft and camshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, pistons along with rings, as well as the replacement of cylinder liners. New injector tips were found in the fuel system. A glow plug coil was also installed. The cooling system gained new thermostats and a regenerated pump.
In addition, the following were regenerated: the crankshaft, connecting rods, injection pump, cylinder heads, turbochargers, and the starter and alternator.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
