A major overhaul of the Deutz TCD2012L04 2V engine installed in the Fuchs MHL 320 wheel excavator has been carried out in our company.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, replacing the crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings, pistons along with rings. We also replaced the oil and water pump, installed new tensioner bearings, a new camshaft with cups. A complete set of engine seals was also replaced.
In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft (grinding), connecting rods, turbocharger, cylinder head, and the sleeves in the block were oversized.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
