In our workshop, a rebuild of the damaged Volvo D7E engine was carried out.
The engine repair included, among other things, the replacement of the damaged engine block, crankshaft, camshaft along with tappets. Then the engine was assembled on new repair kits containing main bearings, bearings and connecting rod bushings, as well as cylinder liners and pistons with rings. New injectors and high-pressure pumps were installed in the fuel system. The engine cooling system received a new water pump and thermostats. The worn oil pump was also replaced with a new one. The engine block was regenerated and the camshaft bearings were replaced, and the camshaft itself was regenerated.
In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft, connecting rods, head, turbocharger and starter.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
