Liebherr D9406 engine after overhaul – ready-to-install unit

We offer a fully overhauled Liebherr D9406 engine, prepared for installation as the power unit for an excavator, dumper, wheel loader or any other machine working in heavy-duty conditions. After the overhaul, the engine was assembled using new wear parts and consumables and tested on a dynamometer, confirming correct pressures, temperatures and power output.

Scope of work for the Liebherr D9406 engine overhaul

• Mechanical overhaul – replacement of cylinder liners, pistons, rings, bearings and the complete set of seals.
• Cylinder heads and crankshaft – machining and measurements, refurbishment or replacement of valves, guides and stem seals, inspection and machining of the crankshaft.
• Fuel injection system – injectors and injection pump overhauled or replaced, adjustment according to the manufacturer’s specification.
• Lubrication and cooling system – new pumps, inspection of oil and water passages, leak tests.
• Final test on the dynamometer – operation under load with parameter logging and post-adjustment fine-tuning.
