In our workshop, a rebuild of the damaged Deutz TCD7.8 engine was carried out.
The engine repair began with the replacement of basic elements. The engine was assembled on new repair kits containing main bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, as well as cylinder liners and pistons with rings. In the fuel system, new injectors and new high-pressure pumps were installed. The engine cooling system received a regenerated water pump and new thermostats. The worn oil pump was replaced with a new one. In the engine block, the camshaft bearings were replaced, and the camshaft itself was regenerated. Additionally, all pushrod cups were replaced.
In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft, connecting rods, cylinder head, turbocharger, alternator and starter.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
