Construction Machinery Service

WIBAKO construction equipment service covers diagnostics, day-to-day repairs and full overhauls of construction machinery, from replacing a single seal to rebuilding an engine or a hydraulic pump. Construction leaves no room for guesswork. Every hour an excavator or loader stands idle costs real money. That is why we work to get the machine back on the job as quickly as possible, and to make sure the fault does not come back a week later.
We operate in two ways. Our mobile service travels to construction sites, quarries and storage yards. On site, our technicians fix the fault or remove the damaged component. Our workshop in Kojszówka handles jobs that need full facilities: engine overhauls, hydraulic pump and motor rebuilds and undercarriage repairs. We serve Lesser Poland (Małopolska), the whole of Poland and neighbouring countries.
We use construction machinery in our own daily work. We know these machines not only as service technicians but also as operators, so we know which solutions actually hold up on site.

Our construction equipment services

Diesel engines
We carry out complete and partial overhauls and service engines from Liebherr, Cummins, Deutz, Volvo, John Deere, Perkins, Komatsu and other manufacturers. We start with computer diagnostics of diesel engines: reading fault codes and testing the injection and fuel systems. This lets us separate electronic faults from mechanical ones, so we never replace parts by trial and error.
Hydraulics
We measure pressures and flow rates, and repair and rebuild pumps, hydraulic motors, control valves and cylinders. Customers most often come to us with these symptoms:
- loss of power at the attachment,
- slow movements once the oil warms up,
- system overheating,
- leaks.
The goal of every repair is to restore the component to its original factory performance.
Undercarriages
We work on tracks, track and carrier rollers, idlers, sprockets and final drives. We measure wear and assess what can stay in service and what needs replacing. A real-life example: repairing a damaged track on a Doosan DX 225LC excavator.

Electrical systems
We repair wiring harnesses, control units, starting and charging systems and sensors. After a fire or ECU failure, the entire wiring often has to be replaced. That was the case when the computer burned out on a Volvo EC460 and we replaced the complete wiring harness.
DPF filters
We clean and regenerate DPF filters on machines with engines meeting the latest emission standards. A clogged DPF shows up as loss of power, frequent regeneration cycles and the machine switching to limp mode.
Hydraulic oil filtration
We clean the oil with a bypass filtration unit, without removing any components. We remove fine contaminants and moisture. This extends the service life of pumps and control valves and cuts oil change costs. Contaminated oil is one of the main causes of hydraulic system failures, so filtration costs far less than rebuilding a pump later on.
Post-warranty repairs and scheduled maintenance
We provide the full range of post-warranty services for most machines on the market: excavators, loaders, dozers, cranes, dump trucks, rollers, crushers and screeners.
Mobile construction equipment service

The key to effective field service is technical self-sufficiency. Our service vans are “workshops on wheels” equipped with tools, diagnostic equipment and consumables. On site we carry out diagnostics as well as mechanical and hydraulic repairs. If the fault is more serious, we remove the damaged component and rebuild it in our workshop. This shortens downtime, because the whole machine does not have to be transported on a low-loader.
An example of our field work: replacing the hydraulic pump on a Liebherr A924 excavator in Slovakia.
Mobile or workshop service?
- Mobile: fast diagnostics, hydraulic repairs, hose and seal replacement, fixing day-to-day breakdowns, on-site maintenance.
- Workshop: complete engine overhauls, rebuilding pumps and major components, jobs that require specialist test benches and testing.
Scheduled maintenance – how often should an excavator be serviced?
Always check the service intervals in the manufacturer's documentation for your machine. A typical schedule looks like this:
- Daily / every 8–10 operating hours: engine oil, hydraulic oil and coolant levels, greasing pins, checking for leaks and the air filter indicator.
- Every 50 hours: greasing the slewing ring, draining the fuel water separator, checking track and belt tension.
- Every 500 hours: engine oil, oil filter and fuel filter change, air filter inspection.
- Every 1000 hours: swing gearbox and final drive oil, hydraulic filters, cooling system inspection.
- Every 1500–3000 hours: hydraulic oil (ideally based on oil analysis), coolant, valve clearance adjustment and injector inspection.
Construction equipment service – prices
The cost depends on the type of machine, the scope of work, the travel distance and the price of parts. Guide rates:
- scheduled maintenance: approx. PLN 1,400 net + travel + materials,
- technician labour rate: PLN 230 net per hour,
- labour rate for fitting parts purchased from WIBAKO: PLN 190 net per hour,
- travel: PLN 3/km both ways.
We confirm current rates and a quote for your specific job when you contact us.

Brands we work on include Liebherr, Volvo, Caterpillar, JCB, Komatsu, Terex/Fuchs, Atlas, Yanmar, Kubota, Hitachi, Doosan, Case, Bobcat, Takeuchi, John Deere, Wirtgen and Furukawa.
Our team and experience

We have two specialist teams: one for hydraulics and one for diesel engines. Enquiries are reviewed by an advisor with more than 15 years of experience in the construction equipment industry. He helps you decide what makes the most sense: a mobile repair, a component rebuild or replacement with a new part, taking your work schedule and budget into account.
Spare parts available immediately
How quickly a repair can be completed depends on parts availability. Our warehouse holds more than 100,000 items. We work with Bosch and Motorservice (Kolbenschmidt, Pierburg). We fit genuine parts and OEM-quality replacements. See our range of construction equipment engine parts.
Service area – construction equipment service in Lesser Poland, across Poland and abroad
