A Caterpillar 3306 engine overhaul was carried out in our company.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, as well as cylinder liners and pistons along with rings. New injectors were installed in the fuel system and a regenerated injection pump. A new oil pump was assembled in the lubrication system. The cooling system gained a new coolant pump.
The cylinder head, camshaft and pushrod cups were also replaced.
In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft, connecting rods, turbocharger, starter and alternator.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
