New Develon bulldozer - debut on the European market

The new DD130 bulldozer is a machine belonging to the Develon brand, once known as Doosan Construction Equipment. The bulldozer weighs over 15 tons and is powered by a 156 HP engine, and the machine itself can reach a maximum speed of 9 km/h. The vehicle comes in several variants from the standard version, which is equipped with a 3.3 m wide blade and 710 mm wide tracks, to the version with a 3.66 m blade and 760 mm tracks. Alternatively, there is also a version with narrow 560 mm tracks and a 3.1 m blade.

The manufacturer points to the very good visibility that the operator has in the cabin, all thanks to the narrowing of the front engine compartment and the relocation of the electronic cooling system to the rear of the machine, which allowed for space saving and obtaining glazed surfaces all around the operator. Comfort was also taken care of by installing an adjustable and heated driver's seat in the cabin and a control system based on electronic joysticks. Both of these elements were mounted on a pneumatic suspension designed to absorb vibrations that occur during operation.

Another support system for the operator is the 2D Dozing Assistant, which is software that automates the functions of moving the blade based on data previously entered by the driver. In addition, the bulldozer has access to the Develon telematics system, which allows for tracking the location of the equipment, as well as monitoring its technical condition and informing about the need for a technical inspection, if it detects a problem.
