Hydraulic oil filtration: the key to the longevity of your construction machines
For some time now, we have had a mobile hydraulic oil filtration unit in our equipment. Filtering hydraulic oil is an important service activity that improves the overall condition of the entire hydraulic system in a construction machine.
Thanks to regular service intervals, the lifespan of individual components can be extended, and thus we can save significantly on parts replacement in the future. Very often during the service of a pump or hydraulic engine, we have the opportunity to directly determine in which machine the owner cared about the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil based on the condition of these components.
Contaminated oil is a potential threat to the hydraulic system
So what are the most common threats associated with oil? Let's start with the issue of water, which can be present in it. Such contaminated hydraulic oil poses a threat to the construction machine.
A high level of water affects the loss of lubricating properties by the oil and faster wear of hydraulic components. The second significant problem is metallic contaminants causing, for example, damage to sliding bearings or entire rotating groups, which is often the cause of failure.
Clean oil ensures proper working conditions and reduces machine failure. Our mobile service can currently offer you oil filtration service, as we have a Kleenoil MS2 600 filtration unit in our service equipment. What does such a service look like and what is the filtration process?

At the customer's request, we can connect our filtration unit to his machine - it is not a complicated process, and the effects are really measurable. Our Kleenoil filtration set allows for cleaning oil from water and solid particles - the filtration speed is 600 liters per hour. The technology used in the set are filters that attract and filter out metal particles in the hydraulic oil using a magnetic field.
We can perform such an additional service both on-site at the customer's and in our stationary service. Why is it worth using it? First of all, it is a saving of time and money, because by filtering oil during another service we do not expose ourselves to additional machine downtime. Additionally, we save on service costs because there is no need to engage additional people and resources for such an activity. We can guarantee that the conducted filtration meets all the standards set by the device manufacturer and is effective.
