Liebherr, one of the leading manufacturers of construction equipment, was founded in 1949 by Hans Liebherr, later inventor of the mobile tower crane
and the first hydraulic excavator in Europe. For the founder, the priorities in running the company were reliability and continuity. The company was initially focused on the production of cranes and construction machinery, but over time it started selling household appliances (refrigerators and freezers).

What sets Liebherr apart?

A feature that distinguishes Liebherr from many other companies is undoubtedly the ownership structure of the company, which belonged to the members of the Liebherr family from the very beginning. As a result, the company is focused not only on customer satisfaction and thus increasing sales figures, but also on cultivating many years of tradition. Currently, the corporation is headed by the descendants of the founder: siblings Willy and Isolde Liebherr. They indicate honesty, trust and building lasting relationships with customers as the most important values of the company, and one of the guiding principles is "we think about tomorrow today". As befits a company with German origin, Liebherr is widely appreciated for the quality and reliability of its products, and the company places great emphasis on innovation and continuous development.

Machines and parts for Liebherr machines

One of the most famous machines produced by the German manufacturer is the T282B tipper, presented in 2004 in Munich, which was then the largest car in the world. Throughout its history, Liebherr has introduced many products considered to be groundbreaking at that time, such as the first all-terrain crane (in 1997) or the world's largest self-propelled harbor crane LHM 800 (2015).
The current headquarters of the company is in the west of Switzerland, in Bulle. Since 1985, Liebherr products have been available in Poland, and twenty years later a distribution and service company was established in our country. Currently, the German giant has branches in Warsaw, Gdańsk and Poznań, and the company's headquarters is in Ruda Śląska.
