Recondition of engine Cummins 6BT5.9-C

Despite the connecting rod has made a hole in the engine block, we were able to rebuild the engine due to the fact that we had a large base of spare parts.

Engine overhaul included replacement of the damaged engine block, crankshaft, camshaft with push rods and tappets. After restoration of base parts, the engine was assembled with new repair kits containing main bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, and oversized pistons with rings.

Reconditioned injectors and an injection pump were installed in the fuel system. The engine cooling system received a new water pump and thermostat. The worn out oil pump has been replaced with a new one.

In addition, the following were regenerated: connecting rods, cylinder head, turbocharger, alternator.

At last motor got a complete engine seals, filters set.

After engine assembly the unit was tested on our test bench for running and proper work.
