Ignoring the first signs of performance drop in demolition attachments or the Furukawa base machine is the easiest path to a serious and expensive breakdown that can completely halt operations at a demolition site or quarry.

Here are the key warning signs indicating the need for diagnostics or repair:

Drastic drop in hammer impact energy - weakening impact force, blank firing, or a drop in stroke frequency in Furukawa FXJ and F series hammers most often signal nitrogen loss in the diaphragm accumulator or piston wear.

Slowing down and loss of power in operating movements - if the excavator or loader loses power after the hydraulic oil warms up, this is a classic symptom of internal seal loss in the main pump or control valve.

Unusual noise and vibration in the percussion system - loud, uneven knocking in the attachment or vibrations transmitted to the machine arm signal worn guide bushings, chisel damage, or a control valve failure.

Oil leaks from attachments or undercarriage - leaks from the main hammer seals, cylinders, or swivel joint reduce operating pressure and pose a risk of seizing working components.

Symptoms from the internal combustion engine - thick black or blue smoke from the exhaust, starting difficulties in Isuzu / Cummins units, and increased crankcase pressure (blow-by from the breather).

Metal shavings and dust in hydraulic filters - the presence of metal particles in the oil is a final warning of catastrophic main pump failure and contamination of the entire hydraulic system.

In our workshop, we precisely rebuild fluid power components installed in Furukawa excavators and drill rigs. Instead of replacing complete, expensive assemblies with new ones, we rebuild piston pumps by replacing rotary groups, valve plates, and pistons. Our technicians also have unique experience in servicing hydraulic breakers (including FXJ225, FXJ375, F22, F35, F45) and crushing jaws. We replace guide bushings, pistons, high-pressure seals, rebuild control valves, and recharge nitrogen accumulators to the manufacturer's nominal values.

Every reconditioned main pump or travel motor undergoes pressure testing, simulating loads reaching up to 350 bar and oil temperatures reaching 70°C. We test pressure stability, power regulator response, and volumetric efficiency. As a result, you can be sure that the repaired component installed in your Furukawa machine will operate flawlessly from the first minute on the job site.

Comprehensive engine repairs and reconditioning

When the power unit in a Furukawa machine loses power under load, consumes excessive amounts of oil, or suffers from injection system failures, we perform complete major overhauls. Our team has extensive experience in rebuilding internal combustion engines from Isuzu, Cummins, Deutz, and Perkins fitted to demolition and geotechnical equipment.

Each engine removed from a Furukawa machine undergoes thorough washing, disassembly, and precision measurements of cylinder bores, crankshaft, and cylinder head. We perform full machining (crankshaft grinding, cylinder head resurfacing, block line boring), replace pistons, rings, bearings, and rebuild Common Rail injection systems.

Engine dyno up to 500 HP

After completing a major overhaul, the internal combustion engine goes to our stationary engine dyno, allowing us to test units up to 500 HP.

We do not return engines without verifying their real performance. On the test stand, we run in the power unit under controlled conditions, simulating full operating loads - such as those encountered during reinforced concrete crushing or hard rock drilling. We monitor oil pressure, temperature curves, and fuel delivery parameters in real time. You receive a fully tested engine complete with a technical report confirming restoration to factory power.

Equipped with mobile diagnostic apparatus, our service vehicles allow for quick pressure measurement in the hydraulic system, pump efficiency assessment, and control troubleshooting on-site. Minor breakdowns - such as cylinder leaks, hose replacements, valve tuning, or electronics diagnostics - are resolved on the spot. In the event of more severe mechanical damage, we disassemble the component and transport it to our service center. Do I need to bring the whole excavator, or is it enough to bring just the hammer or hydraulic pump?

You don't need to transport the entire machine. You can deliver just the attachment or the dismantled component - such as a Kawasaki main pump or an Isuzu internal combustion engine-to our workshop in Kojszówka.

Do you respond to breakdowns directly at mine sites or demolition areas?

Yes, our mobile service unit comes directly to the machine's job site - including quarries, open-pit mines, and demolition sites across Poland. We are fully equipped with service vehicles and diagnostic gear.

Do you provide a warranty on repaired Furukawa engines or hydraulic pumps?

Yes, we provide a written warranty on all our repairs, regenerations of hydraulic pumps, internal combustion engines (Isuzu, Cummins, Deutz), and demolition attachments. Every component leaving our workshop undergoes testing on an engine or hydraulic dynamometer, and clients can request a report confirming factory-standard performance.
