A Perkins 1004-40T engine overhaul was carried out in our company.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, the replacement of pistons along with rings, crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings. The fuel system received regenerated injectors and a fuel pump, as well as a new feed pump. The cooling system was equipped with a new water pump and thermostat.
A new oil pump, sensors, pushrod cups, and piston nozzles were also installed.
In addition, the engine block, head, crankshaft, connecting rods and turbocharger were regenerated.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
