Hydraulic Pump Diagnostics – the Beginning of the Service History
A set of pumps from a Liebherr PR732 bulldozer arrived at our service. The client provided two units: a Linde BPV100L hydraulic pump and a Linde A10VO100 working pump. Unfortunately, the BPV pump was in a condition that made repair impossible – it was replaced with a new unit from our stock. The A10VO100 working pump, on the other hand, was placed on the diagnostic table.
Dismantling the A10VO100 Pump – a Classic Design Common in Many Machines
The A10VO100 is a model commonly found in loaders, excavators, and of course, bulldozers. The pump was disassembled using two basic tools – 5 mm and 14 mm hex keys. The simple construction and mechanical regulator controlling the pistons are the hallmarks of this design.
Technical Verification – What Needed Replacement?
After disassembling the rotary group and the distribution, we proceeded to analyze the technical condition:
- Pistons – visible deformations, the effect of flattening under the pressure of the separator – qualified for replacement.
- Ball and Separator – wear that could lead to jamming and failure of the entire pump.
- Bushings – one of them showed visible wear, also to be replaced.
- Working Surfaces – will be subjected to grinding.
Assembly Stage – Precision is the Key to Reliability
After preparing new parts (a complete set of pistons, ball, separator, bushings), we began assembling the pump. Proper positioning of the control pistons was crucial – each of them contains lubrication channels, and incorrect placement could lead to pump damage.
The assembly also included the installation of:
- sliding bearings,
- rotary group,
- distribution and closing plates,
- regulator and seals.
Final Test – Pump Ready for Operation
The assembled unit was subjected to a test on the testing stand. The result? Positive! The pump passed the entire process without any reservations and is ready for further operation. Why is it worth having the pump verified? Neglecting even minor damages (like a worn ball or separator) can lead to serious failures and machine downtime. In our service, we provide:
- free verification on the same day,
- complete technical documentation,
- spare parts from stock,
- professional assembly and testing.
