The engine repair included, among other things, the replacement of the engine block, cylinder head, crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and bushings, pistons and piston rings. The fuel system received regenerated injectors and a fuel pump as well as a new feed pump, and the cooling system a new water pump and thermostat.
A new oil pump, a new camshaft with cups, as well as a new vibration damper and belt tensioner were also installed.
In addition, the following were regenerated: the engine block, cylinder head, crankshaft, connecting rods, turbocharger, and the alternator and starter.
Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets and filters.
After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
