In our workshop, a Cummins 6CT8.3 engine repair was carried out, originating from a ZL3002 wheel loader.

The engine repair included, among other things, the replacement of the corroded engine block and the camshaft along with the tappets. Then the engine was assembled on new repair kits containing cylinder liners and pistons along with pins and rings. The sets of main bearings and connecting rod bearings and bushings were also replaced. In the fuel system, regenerated injectors and an injection pump were installed, and the fuel supply is now provided by a new feed pump. The engine cooling system received a new water pump and new thermostats. The worn oil pump was replaced with a new one.

In addition, the following were regenerated: crankshaft, camshaft, connecting rods, cylinder head, turbocharger, alternator, and starter.

Finally, the engine was assembled on a new set of seals, gaskets, and filters.

After the repair, the engine was checked and initially run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
