JCB Equipment Review

The development of the JCB brand has led to the introduction of new products in the categories of mini excavators, dump trucks and vibratory rollers. Going from general to specific, we are talking about two model designations of mini excavators 25Z-1 and 26C-1, a dump truck 3TE and two vibratory rollers - CT380-130 and CT430-140.

Mini excavators 25Z-1 and 26C-1

The new models of JCB mini excavators have been equipped with a new generation engine that meets the Stage V - Kohler 18.4 kW standard, which is expected to reduce fuel consumption by 5%. Both machines are in the 2.5 ton weight category, and the manufacturer has ensured that they are quiet and stable during their work. The excavators have been designed to perform their tasks excellently in confined spaces and can be towed in areas with a maximum load of up to 3.5 tons, which also affects the flexibility in transporting these machines from place to place. Standard equipment of these mini excavators includes safety systems - LED "Follow me Home" lights and 2GO (the first one leaves the lights on for 3 min after switching off, and the second one is designed to protect against accidental machine movements).

One of the technologies used in the engine is the auto stop and auto idle function - thanks to the timed engine shutdown (2 - 30s) after detecting inactivity of the control elements, the reduction of fuel consumption and emissions is significantly reduced, and additionally the hydraulic system of the machine consumes fuel only when its load is detected.

Dump truck 3TE

The mentioned dump truck is a machine powered by a 100% lithium-ion battery, which allows the vehicle to perform its assigned functions during a typical working day. The hydraulics of this model is in no way inferior to the dump truck 3T-2 powered by a Diesel engine. The manufacturer offers a 5-year warranty on the lithium-ion battery.

As in the case of mini excavators, this vehicle has functions designed to increase the safety of both the operator and bystanders near the dump truck in the form of a warning alarm, a two-stage driving lock system, or a safety belt of a distinct color visible from afar.

Vibratory rollers - CT380-130 and CT430-140 Tandem Rollers

With a weight of less than 5 tons, the vibratory rollers CT380-130 and CT430-140 are the latest offer in this category from JCB. What is even more distinctive for the new series of rollers is the impressively small turning radius, which makes this equipment ideal for tight working spaces.

The compact size of the rollers was achieved by optimizing the design and weight by reducing the thickness of the front and rear chassis and the operator's cabin. The machines are powered by an engine compliant with the Stage V standard, but care was also taken to ensure appropriate performance parameters.

By presenting new machines, JCB confirms that it focuses on modern trends involving the development of innovative power technologies in construction machines, compact construction, guarantee of safety for the operator and bystanders, and useful functions to improve comfort during machine operation.
