A major overhaul of the Volvo TD71A engine installed in the drilling rig was carried out in our company.
The engine overhaul included, among other things, grinding the crankshaft, replacing the liners in the block, replacing the crankshaft bearings, pistons with rings, replacing the camshaft bearings and replacing the seals.
In addition, the head, injectors and injection pump were regenerated. After the repair, the engine was checked and preliminarily run-in on the engine dynamometer in our workshop.
