Daily Tasks (or every 8-10 operating hours)

Before starting work, the excavator operator should conduct a basic inspection:

• Check the engine oil and coolant levels.
• Verify the overall technical condition (e.g., track tension in tracked machines).
• Mandatory lubrication of the excavator – we recommend before starting or every 8-10 hours of intensive work.

Periodic Intervals – The Key to Machine Longevity

While some tasks, such as checking the hydraulic oil level and the cleanliness of air filters, should be performed every 50 operating hours, key advanced services should be entrusted to specialists:

• Every 500 operating hours: Basic periodic inspection of the excavator – includes, among others, changing engine oil, oil filters, fuel filters, breather, and air filters.
• Every 1000 operating hours: Extended engine and systems service – replacement of cabin and hydraulic filters. It is worth considering an analysis of a hydraulic oil sample.
• Every 1500–3000 operating hours: Replacement of hydraulic oil – frequency depends on the type of oil, working conditions, and analysis results.

Remember: regular oil services significantly extend the lifespan of your machine and allow for early detection of concerning symptoms, thereby minimizing the cost of repairs for construction machines.

The cost of excavator service or the price of machine repair is always determined individually and depends on several key factors:

• Scope of work: A simple periodic inspection and fluid replacement is less expensive than a complicated repair of an excavator requiring thorough verification and replacement of expensive components.
• Condition of the machine: Replacement of consumable parts (standard wear) generates lower costs than repairing a more serious breakdown.
