Recondition of engine Volvo D7E

The engine repair started with the replacement of the damaged engine block. The crankshaft and camshaft were at least good condition, so they were polished only, keeping the upper dimension limit. After renew of these elements, we started to assemble the engine with new repair kits containing main bearings, connecting rod bearings, cylinder sleeves and complete pistons with rings and pins.

The fuel system is equipped with a set of new injectors and new high pressure pumps. A new water pump and a new thermostat are now responsible for efficient engine cooling. The oil pump was also replaced.

Moreover, the following parts were regenerated: cylinder head, turbocharger, alternator and starter.

At last motor got a complete engine seals, filters set.

After engine assembly the unit was tested on our test bench for runing and proper work.
