A company that has made history as a manufacturer of high-quality machines and parts for construction machinery is Zettelmeyer, a company founded at the beginning of the last century by Hubert Zettelmeyer. In the initial period of their activity, they were mainly involved in the production of agricultural tractors and railway maneuvers, with time, tractors powered by mechanical diesel engines and a wide range of heavy construction equipment and parts for machines were added to the list of products offered. In 1975, the German manufacturer became part of the international concern IBH and this ownership situation lasted until the company's collapse in 1983.
Zettelmeyer as part of the Volvo Group
Currently, Zettelmeyer is part of the Volvo group (the name has been changed from Zettelmeyer to Volvo Construction Equipment or VCE for short), which is the best showcase for the German company. Quality, safety, reliability, efficiency - these are the qualities that, without a shadow of a doubt, can be attributed to the products and machine parts of both Zettelmeyer and Volvo. Zettelmeyer wheel loaders (both B and C series) are particularly popular among users. In 1971, the first dozer model was produced, which also gained recognition in the industry, with a total of 464 bulldozers introduced to the market.
