Recondition of engine Cummins QSB4.5

Rebuilding the engine began with the regeneration of the basic engine components, i.e. the engine block, crankshaft and the camshaft. After the restoration of these elements, we proceeded to assemble the engine based on new repair kits containing main bearings, connecting rods bearings and complete pistons with rings. Worn out tappets were also replaced.

Due to the lack of connecting rods bushings on the market, and result of the inability to regenerate this element, it was necessary to replace the connecting rods with brand new ones.

The entire fuel system has been regenerated. The engine cooling system received a new water pump, thermostat and the temperature sensor. A similar situation took place in the oil system, the new oil pump and the oil pressure sensor were replaced with new ones as well.

Moreover, the following parts were regenerated: crankshaft, cylinder head, turbocharger, alternator and starter.

At last motor got a complete engine seals, filters set.

After engine assembly the unit was tested on our test bench for runing and proper work.
